Our approach to the circus arts has its roots in professional skill and experience, a respect for the audience and an understanding of distilling to the essence. We prefer to grow the performance out of real life observations and compassion for humanity, with tricks both to shock and awe, to rouse laughter and to touch the heart.
· Professional Goofballs
Our main equipment of choice is the beautiful cyr wheel. We also do acrobatics individually and as a pair, as well as juggling, power stunts, balancing acts, magic tricks, fire-eating, mentalism and clownery. Embodying an attitude of ‘less is more (but no less than necessary)’, our vast network of other circus professionals enables us to create larger spectacles if requested, as well.
We offer workshops for all ages and all kinds of groups, as a powerful, versatile tool for connecting with oneself and with each other. Another fun and popular method has been to incorporate circus as an entertaining boost alongside or within our catering occasions, to serve food with an elevated level of surprise.
A circus performance in itself is without exception an immersing experience, whether viewed from a distance or actively engaged in by the audience.
· The Upside-Down World
We believe that living outside the boundaries of everyday life has lasting benefits on one’s health: it inspires the body to move beyond its norms, the mind to see things from a new perspective, and fulfills our needs for fun and laughter. It encourages us to be brave, to take a leap of faith towards trust in oneself and each other. Even only witnessing a circus trick can be enough to inspire this change.
Anything is possible, and our conception of circus and its potential keeps on renewing itself with every experience we have in the ‘upside-down world’.
